Factory Built Building Construction

Factory Built Building (FBB) Is defined as: “A building constructed off-site, under plant conditions, using the same material and design standards to meet the codes and building standards of conventionally built buildings – but in a shorter timeframe.”

Once an FBB is assembled on-site and fitted with FF&E, it is virtually indistinguishable from their site-built counterparts.

Some of the benefits of a FBB are:
1. Shorter building permit time frames.
2. Shorter Construction and Project Schedules.
3. Consistent Building Costs
4. Better Quality Control
5. Greener Project versus conventional built. Depending on the manufacturer it will be easier to achieve a “net zero” project.
6. Safer construction environment
